Number 205 of 500. Limited Edition. The book will be included with this sale.This item was purchased by me in person from Harrod's Dept Store in London during a feature sale by Theo's daughter Sarah Faberge and her son - Josh who both signed this special edition book on November 8, 2003.
Handpainted and sculptured in fine bone china in relief, the front taken from a 19th Century painting of the facade of the Great Palace, surrounded with the dome of the church of St Peter and St Paul in vermeil.
Inside is a hidden surprise; a replica in sterling silver and gold of the Throne Room of the Great Palace with the portrait of Catherine The Great hanging behind the throne.
