Rare BLUE DOG/George Rodrigue MULTI COLOR YELLOW 2002 MARDI GRAS DOUBLOON with ENGRAVED ARTIST SIGNATURE. There were only 200 made and were made exclusively for the Argus Parade on Mardi Gras Day. George Rodrigue, is a Louisiana-based artist most famous for his “Blue Dog” series of paintings. George Rodrigue served as Grand Marshall of the 2002 Argus Parade and rode on a specially built Blue Dog Float. There were only 200 minted and over 1 million people attended the parade.
