Antique Italian Rococo polychrome painted chest of drawers with faux marble top - hand painted in cream and blue with scrolls, flowers and butterflies - solid pine wood construction throughout with doweled joints and tongue and groove drawer fronts - completely hand made- unsigned- Italy (Genoa possibly) - mid 19th century.
Good antique condition - all original (including polychrome painted finish) - chipping and paint loss with rubbing/wear from age and use - soiling and touch-ups in areas to the painted finish - paper drawer linings with tears.
