THIS LISTING; VERASCOPE RICHARD STEREOSCOPE. 88 HISTORICAL GLASS STEREOSCOPIC SLIDES FROM 19th, EARLY 20th CENTURY RUSSIA.

This listing features 7 boxes of stereoscopic glass negatives. Most of the images are from Russia and date from 1903 to 1914. Locations inked on most of the images with many in CYRILLIC SCRIPT with the text including dates, names and locations.

Box #1:14 images. Handwritten notes in Cyrillic script, possibly Russian, date from 1908 to 1912 and include names such as Malakovka which was a popular dacha settlement at the end of the 19th and early 20th century inhabited by famous Russian artists and writers such as Anton Chekhov and Maxim Gorky. The Malakovsky Summer Theatre was a notable landmark. (1 image not labeled, 3 show glass breakage).

Box #2: 12 images. Cyrillic script with text denoting early scenes in Mockba(Moscow) and with specific focus on the Danilovsky cemetery. All images labeled with 2 blurred text.

Box #3: Dating from 1903 f and features 10 images of a trip through Switzerland. All images labeled with 1 showing glass breakage.

Box #4: 12 images dating from 1903 to 1914 with inked locations; Albula, Thusis, Osten and Viamala. All images labeled with 1 blurred textand 3 with glass breakage.

Box #5:13 images from 1903 to1906 of Kuskovl (Kyckobo) and Bewha (Veshnya). Likely the historic Kushovo estate/country house near Moscow belonging to the Sheremetev family? 1 image not labeled.

Box #6: 13 images dating from 1904 to 1912 featuring Tsarina,Tsarina's Mama and theTsarskoye Selo, the former imperial residence near St Petersburg, Russia. Some of the text mentions "Tsarina". A connection to the Romanov family and a specific historic location and period? 1 image not labeled, 1 with blurred text.

Box #7: 14 images dating from 1906 to 1908 labeled "Tsaritsyno" andTsaritsyna" document the classical style building and historical estate. 2 images with glass breakage.

The Verascope is in good condition. Some of the boxes show wear to the edges and have inked descriptions on both the outside and inside covers. Listed as found.
