9/11 WTC Flag Signed by First Responders and NYC Mayor :

This is the American Flag recovered in the World Trade Center complex near WTC Building 3, “The Marriott World Trade Center”, (originally the “Vista Hotel”). The Flag was found by a First Responder of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on our country. The 22 story WTC 3 building, located between Twin Towers 1 and 2, was first seriously damaged in 1993 by an al Qaeda bomb placed in a sub-level parking garage near WTC 1.
On 9/11/2001 WTC 3 was first damaged by falling debris from Tower 2 and shortly thereafter from Tower 1 which subsequently caused the collapse of Tower 3.
The Flag that bears witness to the destruction of that day was signed by First Responders working on the cleanup of the site and contains the name of the finder of this Flag. Many of the signers listed their organizations and unit numbers. Near the Flag’s center is the signature of then Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, who signed it during an inspection tour of the site.
