This is an ULTRA RARE AND UNIQUE OVERSIZED 20” x 30” Silver Gelatin photographic print of Daniel Kramer’s haunting and transcendent 1965 photo of Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, titled "Crossed Lights."

(Taken at the March 6, 1965 concert in New Haven, Connecticutt during the short-lived Dylan/Baez tour of only 12 shows)

THIS ACTUAL PRINT WAS PRODUCED IN 1966, WITHIN A YEAR AFTER THE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH AND MAKING IT A TRUE “VINTAGE PRINT”!

The Dynamic: Baez would introduce Dylan each night and invite him to join her onstage, but Dylan did not reciprocate the gesture during his own set.

This iconic photograph captures a unique moment between legendary musicians Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, showcasing the already developing angst and deterioration in their personal relationship.

Following the abbreviated 12 date tour in the US, Dylan embarked on his infamous UK concert swing in May/1965

Baez accompanied Dylan on his landmark acoustic tour of England, expecting to perform alongside him as she had previously.

The Backstage Fallout: Dylan decided to perform entirely solo with no guest musicians, effectively sidelining Baez and signaling a painful end to their close collaboration.

Onscreen Legacy: This fraught dynamic was famously captured in D.A. Pennebaker’s documentary “Don’t Look Back”, immortalizing a shifting guard in folk rock history.
