The double-sided reverse-painted glass face presents bold red, yellow, black, and white graphics, with the brand's iconic red-headed photographer mascot with bended knee behind a tripod camera. The text below instructs "Buy and Leave Film Here", indicating its original use as a point-of-sale counter display in a drugstore or camera shop.Lackner was one of America's premier electric sign manufacturers from the 1920s through the 1960s, supplying motion, neon, and backlit advertising displays for nationally recognized brands.
