Lot of 60 original Pierre Pullis (and his brother Granville Pullis, chief photographers of IRT) photographs taken immediately after the collapse of the 7th Ave Interborough Rapid Transit subway between 23rd and 25th Street on Sept 22, 1915. Some of the images look to be part of an investigation as to where collapse took place and why, and some photos date to several days after the collapse as debris was removed likely for investigative purposes. These are the originals, not copies, no duplicates and appear to be in excellent condition and have been stored in an archival box and storage. All photos are dated and identified by number.
