Its impressive size and intricate details make it a unique addition to any collection. The sculpture depicts a figure that is deeply rooted in African culture, and its beauty speaks for itself.

The sheer size of this verdite sculpture is unique with nothing matching it currently for sale. The total height is about 60 inches when sitting on the beautiful custom built wood veneer covered steel table as pictured. The table has some scratches on the top surface, mostly under the area where the sculpture sits, is approximately 18 inches tall and 27 inches square. The sculpture is approximately 42 inches tall by 22 inches wide and 23 inches deep and weighs several hundred pounds possibly exceeding 500 pounds. Although all dimensions are estimated they are believed to be reasonably accurate. The sculpture is currently crated and stored in a commercial art storage facility.

Carved from a very high-quality verdite stone described by an expert in the field as “ a truly stunning hunk of semiprecious Verdite that is made even more valuable by the unusually high presence of pink corundum in it. As said by one expert “This is an impressive work by any standards, I have never seen so much corundum in any one verdite sculpture”. The sculpture has a smooth and polished brilliant green surface that reflects light beautifully and interspersed with the unusual amount of pink (Ruby) Corundum.
