The baseball card wax box is a 1991 Topps Desert Shield Wax Box, authenticated and wrapped by BBCE. This is one of the few Desert Shield boxes ever wrapped by Baseball Card Outlet. At last count somewhere between 12-14 boxes had ever been authenticated and wrapped by BBCE. Of those boxes, it’s unknown how many are still wrapped and how many have been opened. This super rare collectible contains 540 standard-sized cards from the 1991 Topps Desert Shield set. These cards were not released to the public. They were issued to the troops serving overseas in war. Manufactured by Topps in the United States, this set quickly because an instant classic that was almost impossible to find. The box is a highly sought-after item for collectors.
