Curtis Wingate 1926-1982 Original Watercolor With 3 Ink Sketches & Estate Papers:

An original watercolor artwork by western artist Curtis Wingate (1926-1982) with 3 ink sketches and some paper items from his estate. The watercolor is framed, matted and behind archive glass and is 29" by25" overall with an image size of 16-1/2" by 12". It depicts a cowboy and horse with cows. It is signed and dated '72. The 3 ink sketches are all on paper and they are from his estate and stamped as such. The cowboy shooting a coyote is 15-1/2" by 14" overall with an image size of 8" by 9". The bronc buster is also 15-1/2" by 14" with an image size of 7-3/4" by 8-3/4". And the last one of a cowboy roping is 17" by 14-1/2" with an image size of 11" by 8". The loose paper items are also from the estate and they consist of some gallery books/pamphlets, a couple blank cards and a business card from artist Fred Harman. There is also letters from the Cowboy Artists Of America showing Curtis as an associate member in 1966, including his membership card signed by Charlie Dye and Gordon Snidow. Everything here makes a nice collection of a well known artist.
