VERY RARE FLIGHT HARDWARE. MAY EVEN BE ONE OF A KIND AT THIS POINT. NASA APOLLO MARSHALL SPACEFLIGHT CENTER, SATURN V THIRD STAGE (S-IVB) SATURN IB (S-IVB) FUEL TANK PRESSURE CONTROL MODULE.
This piece of flight hardware was designed by the Douglas Aircraft Company's subcontractor, Vinson Division of General Metals Corporation Flight Specifications. It was designed to control the pressure on the main liquid hydrogen tank for the Saturn V and the Saturn IB heavy launch vehicles.
This module was constructed of a precision block of aerospace grade aluminum that was turned, milled and anodized to stringent aerospace specifications.
