These are solid brass, matched number set - 789.

Ultra rare, one in a million opportunity to own a piece of history from our personal collection of Vulcan Iron Works memorabilia linked to 3 generations of employed Vulcan Iron Works Superintendents. A wonderful piece of local history! These can be proudly displayed as a Collector Treasure! Condition reflective of age but that said, they are excellent. Both have slight back curvature. As pictured, previously enjoyed. Please see pictures for final determination of condition and interest in buying.
Unfortunately, we do not know what engine these builders plates came from.
FANTASTIC UPDATE: We were advised the following "These plates are from Twohy Brothers which was a construction firm in the Portland, Oregon area. The locomotive was (assuming reassigned) numbered 14."
