The specimen features a near-complete fossil palm frond preserved in fine detail, accompanied by four associated fossil fish representing two different species, all preserved on the same slab. The composition presents a rare and visually striking snapshot of a subtropical freshwater ecosystem approximately 50 million years Green River Formation, Wyoming
