Meet My Boss, Walter Lantz
This Limited Edition features Walter Lantz with many of his most famous characters: Woody Woodpecker, Andy Panda, Chilly Willy, Buzz Buzzard, Wally Walrus, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, distributed by Universal Studios between 1940 and 1972.
Each character has been thoroughly researched and drawn from original model sheets by a master animator. Paints have been specially mixed to match the vintage colors of the original studio art. The lines on this Limited Edition cel are copied by serigraphy from the original hand-inked lines. The background is a photograph from a studio portrait of Walter Lantz.
This is number 53 from a Limited Edition of 200 hand painted cels personally signed by Walter Lantz. There are (10) artists proofs as well.
