Hello, Offered is a fresh marine corp veteran estate named 1969 Gerber MKII with the rare sharpening steel. This knife is a true time capsule collectors piece in the exact condition it was put away. The knife is in really nice condition along with the sheath and the sharpening steel looks unused. Less than 5 % of gerber mk 2s were ordered with the sharpening steels. The marine veterans name is acid etched on the blade along with his service number. The blade reads R.J Muszinski and U.S.M.C. 1951882 . The serial number is 10383 which dates it to 1969 the height of the vietnam war. The blade is sharp and has no chips to its edge. It resides in its correct original 3 line address sheath with right to left closure strap. The knife is in a padded lined knife case to protect it.
