This is a traditional Owari Shippo cloisonne vase by Kato Shippo Seisakusho, featuring the iconic “Plum Blossom” pattern known as “Umezume.”

The entire vase is beautifully decorated with auspicious plum blossoms, representing elegance and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

While traditional Umezume cloisonne vases were typically made using deep translucent red enamel, this piece introduces a newly developed fresh green color called “Hiwa Moegi,” inspired by the vibrant beauty of young spring greenery.
