Autograph letter signed “Edv. Munch”. 2pages, bifolium, second page written inside, Klampenborg (Denmark), 1905 August13. On “Taarbaek Badehotel” stationery. A fine handwritten letter, Germanspelling with some weaknesses. To a gentleman regarding reproductions of hisworks. InGerman, in full: “Ich. Gelegenheit das projectierte Werk aber auch musz ichIhnen darauf aufmerksam machen dasz Ich nicht alle meine grafische Arbeitenproducieren können. Ebenso musz ich bestimmt wissen welches Sie zu reproducierenbeabzichtigen und die Grosze und Format. / Ich musz nämlich selbst einige zu anbestimmte Zurück brauchen. Hauptsächlich kommt es von der Grösze an - Gemaldenzu schenken ist ein Bischen schwierig aber wenn es nothig ist werde ich versuchen- alzo bitte ich in dieser Gelegenheit um baldige und bestimmte Antwort.“ Mailingfold, handling wear, else good condition.
