Illustrated 10.5" x 8.25" broadside advertising passage from Dublin to Quebec, then part of Lower Canada, in April 1838 on board the ship Credo, under Captain John Humphreys. Edges unevenly cut, a few areas of light chipping, otherwise quite well preserved. Printed date of the 21st amended in manuscript to the 24th, period pen notation to the reverse.
An apparently unrecorded an unique survival recording emigration to Canada during one of the peak periods of its population growth, and coinciding with the Canada Rebellions of 1837-1838.
