Contract signed twice: "Diane Keaton," 2p, 8¼x11½, separate sheets. No place, no date, but late 1989 or early 1990, because this contract was faxed December 21, 1989 (dated at top of second sheet). Photocopy of a fax signed in ink. Keaton signed once as performer and once for her company, Blue Relief, Inc. In part: "Agreement dates as of July 28, 1989, between Zoetrope Italia ('Producer'), Blue Relief, Inc. ('Employer'),and Diane Keaton ('Performer') in connection with the motion picture entitled 'Godfather III' ('Picture'). Reference is made to (I) the agreement dated as of July 28, 1989, between Producer and Employer for the services of Performer in connection with the Picture...For each full week of services rendered in connection with the Picture at Producer's request, or during which Performer remains available to render such services in connection with the Picture at Producer's request, or during which Performer remains available to render such services in connection with the Picture at Producer's request, in excess of the scheduled period of principal photography of the Picture after Performer first commence services therefor, plus (4) consecutive free weeks, five (5) free post-production days (consecutive or non-consecutive), and any other period(s) of service for which the 'No Additional Compensation Sentence' (as defined in the Acting Agreement and the Blue Relief Agreement) specifies that no compensation is payable, Producer shall pay Employer the weekly rate computed by dividing the scheduled period of principal photography into the sum of One Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,750,000), which shall be approximately One Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($125,000) per week (the 'Weekly Rate'). Overage compensation shall be prorated for any partial week at the rate of one-sixth (1/6) of the Weekly Rate per day where services are rendered on location and at the rate of one-fifth (1/5) of the Weekly Rate where services are rendered at the studio, which overage compensation shall be payable to Employer on Producer's regular payday in the week following the week in which such overage compensation accrued...." Zoetrope Italia was Francis Ford Coppola's production company. DIANE KEATON portrayed the wife of Al Pacino in The Godfather (1972), Godfather Two (1974), and The Godfather Part III (1990). She won the 1978 Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Annie Hall and was nominated for the same award in 1982 (Reds), 1997 (Marvin's Room) and 2004 (Something's Gotta Give).Two file holes and staple holes at top, else fine condition.
