Original circa 1870's-1880's or so tintype of a serious looking young boy holding a real six gun pistol. We have not tried to identify the maker of the pistol. But, as the pistol is clear in the photo, we suspect that it will be fairly easy for someone to identify who has a knowledge of antique guns.
This photo was found a number of years ago in Phoenix, Arizona.Measures 3 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches.Has some minor bends, some minor wear, & some aging to the tin. Overall in average or better condition for a tintype of this period. It is rare to find an original tintype showing a young boy holding a real six shooter.Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value.
